The start of a new season usually means it’s time to switch over your closet, and what better way to celebrate the coziness that comes with Fall than to add in a few staple pieces that you can wear all season long? Fall is my absolute favorite time of year when it comes to fashion, so I look forward to stocking up on new cute clothes, shoes and accessories. Shopbop is one of my favorite places to shop (I always find cute shoes + accessories there) and they currently have their Event of the Season sale going on. Use code STOCKUP19 to save up to 25% off of your purchase.
Trends come and go, but there are some pieces that you can wear no matter your style, and those are the things that I tend to gravitate towards. This Fall, here are 8 items that I thing you absolute need for your wardrobe:
Club Monaco Mackenzie Sweater, $90
Soft, gauzy knits are a must-have for early Fall, especially if you live somewhere where the the temps haven’t completely cooled down. You can wear them with absolutely everything.
Levi’s Ribcage Flare Jeans, $98
Flares have really made a comeback in denim, and I’m a fan of colored denim as well. You can keep it sleek and pair it with neutrals (black/white/tan) or go for a more 70s feel with stripes and small florals.
Z Supply Leopard Weekender Sweatshirt, $66
Leopard is a neutral in my book, and for Fall people typically add in a leopard skirt + pants. A more fun, casual alternative is a sweatshirt style so that you can elevate your weekend wear a bit.
Sancia Louane Mini Crossbody, $198
Crossbody purses are staples, especially if you’re someone that’s always on the goal. Find a quality option: it may be a little more expensive, but at least you know that you can wear it everywhere (and for a long time).
Levis Ex-Boyfriend Trucker Jacket, $98
Instantly change up your outfit with a denim jacket. A slightly oversized fit is a little more casual, but it will work well when you want to wear it with chunky knits or flouncy dresses and boots.
Madewell Sliding Shapes Hoops, $26
Classic hoops are a staple, but also look for jewelry that has a little something extra to the design.
English Factory Swiss Dot Smocked Maxi Dress, $115
Maxi dresses are a great one and done piece for Fall, and how you choose to accessorize it dictates how much wear and versatility that you can get out of it.
Sam Edelman Petty Suede Booties, $130
Heeled booties are cute, but make sure they’re neutral enough to wear with a lot of different outfits and styles, but also have a heel that’s low enough that you can walk around in them all day.

I’m a lover of neutral toned shoes. They’re so versatile and can match any outfit. I love wearing boots with jeans. Thanks for the tips!
