Summer Beach Beauty Buys

Summer is my favorite time of year to experiment with new skincare + beauty products. This can add up quickly, however, so many times I pick up the mini/sample size version of products before I fully commit to them. They’re at a lower price point, so I don’t have to feel (too) guilty about being a product junkie or tossing an item that I don’t really like.

This Summer I’m actually spending more time outside (those that know me know this is a BIG deal, lol), so I’ve been having fun trying new skincare and makeup products out. As part of Ulta’s #UBCollective, I was able to try out some new travel/mini products for a bit of a Summer “refresh” for my beauty bag. Many shown are already staples in my beauty bag, but there have been some first impressions as well.

Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant
I love how this brightens and makes my skin feel.

Coola Piña Colada Classic Body Organic Sunscreen Spray SPF 30
This smells so yummy and saved me the day I had a picnic in the park.

Tarte Shape Tape Concealer
An OG Concealer that covers and conceals like nobody’s business.

Philosophy Amazing Grace Eau de Toilette
Philosophy makes some of the dreamiest fragrances. If you love clean, feminine scents, try any of their scents.

Tarte Maneater Mascara
I’ve been using this mascara for the last 2 months and I really like the formula. The wand is a bit tricky, but once you figure out the best way to use it for your lashes it’s legit.

ULTA’s Mini Jelly Lip Gloss Gel
These have a hint of color and leave your lips looking and feeling juicy.

Benefit Cosmetics Hoola Matte Bronzer
The first time I tried this bronzer I didn’t like it because I didn’t think it showed up that well on my skin. Turns out it was the brush I was using. This is one of those bronzers that makes your skin seamlessly glow, so if you want to look bronzed without it looking like you caked it on, this is perfect for that.
