Finding happiness in life’s simple pleasures is something I believe that everyone should do.
Juice Bar Green Juices
Whenever I feel like I haven’t gotten in enough fruits and veggies on the week or I need a nutritional recharge, I get a green juice from I Love Juice Bar. I used to make green juices at home years ago, but the juicer I had was too messy, and unless you have the money to invest into a good one that you know you’ll use consistently, just go and get a green juice from a place you trust and call it a day, lol. My favorite from there is their Sweet Greens, but I switch it up when I need to. I’m also a big fan of their overnight oats as well.
Beach Ready Reads
I’ve been trying to get back to reading non-fiction books like I used to do when I was younger. For so long I was in research mode and reading a lot of self-help, marketing/pr, creative inspo, etc. books to help me with growing a business and my blog, but sometimes I just want to escape into another world. I’m taking it one book at a time, but it’s felt so good to be able to just pause and read and relax.
No Makeup Makeup Looks
On Wednesday I did a virtual master class with Armani for their new Neo Nude Foundation Collection that’s dropping. We did a no-makeup makeup look, and while I’ll have more info about the products we used and the foundation next week, I’m really digging the look and wanted to share. I love wearing makeup but rarely do this kind of look (I usually am bronzed up and/or have a bolder lip), so this was fun to do.
Trader Joe’s Goat Cheese and Sundried Tomato Ravioli
Pasta is life, and I’m obsessed with Trader Joe’s Goat Cheese and Sundried Tomato Ravioli. Goat cheese is one of my favorite cheeses, and something about this flavor combination just speaks to my soul. They have a few other options to try (I also get the Butternut Squash Ravioli), but this is definitely my fave. Add in a little drizzle of Balsamic Glaze? *Chef’s Kiss*
Sweet July Magazine
It’s been a while since I’ve picked up a lifestyle magazine that I’ve enjoyed from cover to cover. Ayesha Curry launched her Sweet July Magazine a few months ago and I absolutely love the concept. The photography is beautiful, the recipes seem delicious, and the articles are interesting and relevant to where I am currently in life. I’m excited to see what’s in her next issue, and I hope that she can get to a point where it’s published more frequently.
