Once you fall down the rabbit hole of home decor, it’s really hard to get out of it. Since I decided to completely flip the aesthetic that I was going for at home (it’s a lot more “calming” and neutral than when it started), I can’t stop searching for home decor accent pieces! I love that minimalist meets boho vibe, so anything tan, gold, cream, black or grey or textured in design catches my eye. I’ve found a lot of things locally at Home Goods, Target, Hobby Lobby and At Home, but I’ve ordered a lot of stuff via Amazon as well (so much so that I went ahead and got a Prime Membership bc it was getting out of hand, lol).
I’ve never ordered anything from H&M Home, though. Now I LOVE their clothes, and they’ve been killing it the last year so I’ve gotten a ton of pieces from them, but we don’t have any home goods at our location so I’ve skipped over their section…until now. A lot of the pieces that they have in stock now fall under the aesthetic that I currently love (neutrals with a focus on design, shape and texture), so I think it’s time I placed an order!

Hello all, I just wanted to share that I have purchased many home items from H&M in the past and have been happy in general with the results. I have several candle holders (probably far more that I need in fact) and some plant pots and other ceramic pieces that I still enjoy. I don’t however find the quality to be there with the soft goods that I have ordered. In the past I have found the fabric to be very coarse, so I stay away from things like pillows and sheet sets. Luckily the return policy is excellent so its very easy to return things it turns out you don’t like. So overall, I’d recommend going for it and trying some of these items out, especially since they tend to run out of the home products quickly. Hope that this helped!

Hi Colin, thank you sooooo much for the tips! I wish that we had home items at our stores here so that we could touch/see in person, but your tips are very helpful. Thank you again!
