As someone that loves music and grew up being in the band, I understand the importance and impact that music education can have on your life. Because of this, I’m super excited to be partnering with Green Dot Schools and to share with you the deets around their upcoming fundraising event!
Since 1999, Green Dot Schools have been raising the bar in education reform, helping thousands of high-risk students in the nation’s underserved communities succeed in college, leadership, and life. On October 28th, they are kicking off their Virtual Cooking Series with Chef Jimmy Gentry of Paradox Catering.
Fall Event: Chef Jimmy Gentry | October 28th at 6:30pm CST
Coming to you live from international streaming music studio DittyTV in Downtown Memphis, Chef Jimmy Gentry of Paradox Catering will lead the evening in the kitchen with DittyTV owners, Amy & Ronnie Wright. Explore the musical backdrop of some of Americana & Roots musics’ greatest while hearing about the power of music education in schools.
Each ticket supports a Green Dot student’s participation in their music program to magnify the power of music to connect, inspire, and teach thousands of beautiful, tenacious young lives.
For these virtual events, you’ll have a delicious 3-course dinner (and bottle of wine) delivered to your door and enjoy expert instruction from one of their esteemed culinary partners.
You will gather together in your kitchen virtually to prepare your meal together, share cooking tips and tricks, and discuss the ways we all can support Memphis’s highest need students.
Now that the weather is cooling, this series is a fun way to safely gather with friends and family while also supporting the efforts of an awesome organization.
