Brunch will ALWAYS be a good choice, so for the end of our girls trip to Nashville back in November, Carmeon suggested the Restoration Hardware Cafe in The Gallery at Green Hills. We knew we were going to do a little shopping when we were done (Zara was the main store on our agenda), so the Cafe would be perfect.
my girls: Quaneshia, Quita, Samilia, Carmeon. cheers to friendship and more girls trips!
The RH Cafe checks every box on a blogger’s “aesthetics” list. Tons of gorgeous natural light, marble tables, chandeliers, and live plants. It’s a chic spot to see and be seen in. After toasting up the end of our first trip together with peach bellini’s, we ordered some bites for the table to enjoy.
Although we started with bellini’s, I knew that I needed some caffeine to help me get through the rest of the day. I ordered a Caramel Latte and it was genuinely one of the best lattes I’ve ever had. Not too sweet and not too strong-just the right mix of coffee and flavor.
We also ordered a few apps for the table: Shrimp Cocktail (Lemon, Dijonnaise, Cocktail Sauce), Burrata (Roasted Tomatoes, Della Terra Aged Balsamic, Basil, Charred Sourdough) and Truffled Fries (Black Truffles, Parmigiano-Reggiano, Parsley, Truffle Aioli).
The Shrimp Cocktail was super fresh, with the accompanying dipping sauces adding the perfect amount of “bite” .
Burrata is a dish that I could eat every day. The sourdough bread is charred perfectly so that it has crunch but isn’t hard, and the balsamic compliments the roasted tomatoes perfectly. It’s a shareable plate but could totally be enough for 1 person.
Finally, the Truffled Fries were *Chef’s Kiss*. I know it may seem odd to some people to rave about fries but if you eat them often, you DEFINITELY have a list of faves and can describe why, lol. These were PERFECT.
For my actual meal, I ordered the RH Scramble (Farm Eggs, Crème Fraîche, Avocado, Chives) with a side of Thick Cut Pork Belly Bacon (Maple Glazed, Black Pepper). The eggs were fresh and flavorful, and the bacon was exactly how I like it: with a hint of sweetness and not too crispy.
All in all I was quite happy with brunch that day. We were full but it didn’t put us in a food coma, lol. Your ticket can add up quickly, so my advice would be to go with a small group of friends and order various things from the menu since portions are shareable. That way, you can really sample the menu without breaking the bank or having to second guess what you order. I am aaaaaall for keeping it cute with a little bit of indulgence!
I highly recommend stopping in on your next trip to Nashville (or a RH Cafe location near you). I can’t wait to go back for dinner. They accept reservations, so make one to ensure that you can get in without a long wait.
