Maybelline is one of my favorite makeup brands (many of their products are staples in my makeup bag) so when they sent me some of their Super Stay Teddy Tint™ Liquid Lip Tints, I was elated to test them out. I love a good liquid lipstick, and their Super Stay products mean SERIOUS business.
The Teddy Tints are a little bit different, though. While they are a liquid lip, the formula is more mouse-like. Super soft and plush, they’re really lightweight and buildable, so you can either sheer them out so that they’re moreso like a literal “tint”, or you can make the color more opaque. I prefer an opaque color, so I wore it that way. Once it dries down, it’s supposed to last for up to 12 hours and be non-transferable.
It comes in 12 shades, and they sent me Coquettish, Skinny Dip, and Petal Core.
I really like how they feel on the lips; sometimes liquid lipsticks can be REALLY drying, but these didn’t feel that way at all. It felt like I applied a lip balm. It only takes a moment to dry down, but once it’s dry it’s DRY, lol. It’s a comfortable dry, though. It’s long lasting and I had to use an oil based cleanser in order to get it off.
Maybelline Super Stay Teddy Tint™ come in 10 shades and can be worn on the cheeks as well. You can wear these for any occasion, but I think they work really well on those days where you’re doing a lighter look and also don’t want to have to worry about doing a lot of touch ups.
