5 Beauty Favorites Under $30
You guys know that I’m a beauty product junkie, so I love trying out new skincare and beauty products. While I don’t believe in buying every single collection drop from brands (that’s honestly so wasteful unless you’re using those products up in a professional capacity), but you can’t find something new (to you!) if you don’t experiment. I’ve tried quuuuuuite a few products out over the years (right at the start of Covid in 2020 I was picked to be an influencer for Ulta Beauty and was introduced to many more brands as well), and I go for both high and low, so I wanted to share 5 of my current beauty favorites under $30.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz $23
Brows can make or break your beauty look, so I take those products seriously. Over the years, this has been my most favorite brow product to try. I have a drugstore go-to as well, but every single time I use Brow Wiz I’m like aaaah, perfection.
Tarte Lights, Camera, Splashes Waterproof Mascara $24
This is my all-time favorite mascara. I try soooo many, but constantly go back to this one bc I love the formula, how my lashes look, and most importantly (for me) IT DOESN’T SMUDGE. I have oily eyelids so I have to set with powder, but even so, I’ve used other formulas that still smudge even when they say they don’t. Now, I also will use this lash primer so that it lasts even longer, but I don’t need it whenever I use this. It also comes in a mini version if you want to test it out.
Covergirl Clean Fresh Skin Milk Foundation $12
Don’t get me wrong, I love a good full coverage foundation, but unless I know that I’m specifically getting my photo taken, I don’t really like wearing heavy coverage anymore. I picked this up a few months back, and while I don’t like that the bottle is a little messy, I really like how this looks and feels on the skin. If you’re trying to do a fresh, polished face, this is perfect for that. I do still wear a heavier concealer because I have dark undereye circles, but it doesn’t clash with this at all.
Morphe x Jaclyn Hill Divine Neutrals Eyeshadow Palette $18
If you own nothing else in your eyeshadow arsenal, get a neutral shadow palette. This type of palette will cover 95% of your bases, and you’ll get the most bang for your buck. Morphe’s palettes can be hit or miss, but I really like the colors in this one and the formula is pretty good. This palette is perfect for both a multi-dimensional eye look or a one wash of color look.
Maybelline City Bronzer $11
Bronzer is a staple in my beauty bag. I can go without blush, I can even go with out eyeshadow, but I MUST have bronzer or I will feel incomplete. Maybelline really does have some great base products, and this one doesn’t disappoint at all. It’s very pigmented and long lasting, and can double as shadow and a nose contour powder as well. I will be re-buying this once I hit pan.
There are so many other affordable beauty products that I use regularly, but I thought I’d start with this 5. If you decide to try any of them out, let me know!
