I’ve always been an optimistic, glass half full type of woman. I’m solution oriented, while also being that friend that loves supporting people that are pursuing their dreams (I will gas you up for real for real), so I’m really excited to be partnering with LOFT to help spread the word about LOFTimist Day, Thursday, February 20th!
So what’s a LOFTimist, you ask?
A person who can find the sunny side of the street even in a rainstorm. Whose glass is always half full and who’s quick to make a toast. Who stops to smell the roses—and encourages others to do the same. A person who’s perfectly imperfect, who loves to spread the love and who knows there’s no one way to dress, no one way to look, no one way to love LOFT.
If you’re a boss babe that relates to this, stop by your local LOFT location on February 20th to celebrate and meet some of the other inspiring creatives in your community. This will be an ALL DAY event, and every shopper who makes a purchase that day will receive an exclusive free gift. My friends at LOFT in The Shops of Saddle Creek will be donating $20,000 to St. Jude (you can join in and donate in-store also).
They will also be offering a super special in-store discount that day and if you post a LOFTimistic pic with #LOFTimist and #sweepstakes and mentions @LOFT and @loveloft_memphis, you’ll be entered to win a $2020 LOFT gift card!
Last night was the kickoff party for Memphis Fashion Week at Chickasaw Oaks Village. Although it was a shopping party benefiting the Memphis Fashion Fund + EMDP, the layout of the mall allowed it to be a pretty intimate setting, so you could chat with everyone while still getting your shop on.
Last night I attended a VIB (Very Important Blogger) meetup hosted by Carriage Crossing. About 13 bloggers came together to mingle, have cocktails, and take a tour of a few retailers at the outdoor shopping center.
Now that the heat wave has passed here, I can break my denim out much more frequently. The other day I ran errands and then met up with a client for a quick shoot, but I didn’t want to just put on a regular tee with my jeans.
