An Easy Summer Uniform

Living and working outside in the hot, Southern heat means that I have to be strategic with how I dress daily for work. Y’all know I love a cute little dress, but I need to be able to shoot different angles without worrying about flashing people, lol, so coming up with a uniform was a must. H&M has always been a source for me for clothes (seriously: 80% of my wardrobe is from there), and last year I bought a few of their linen and cotton/linen blend button ups and became hooked. They are perfect!

I seriously love the fit of this shirt. It’s slightly oversized, so there’s movement through the arms and body, but they still have a little structure to them so you can style them with so many different pieces. After wearing them to death all last year, I knew once they started to release them this year I had to stock up. I own at least 10 of them now, with this pink one being the newest to my collection.

I paired them with these tomato red cropped pants I found in Marshall’s because I loved the color combo, but I typically wear them with these cropped trousers from H&M; they’re another staple that I own multiples of. I’m a firm believer that if you find something that fits great, invest in as many options of it that you can, and these pieces are no exception.

If you are looking for a great fitting button up I highly recommend these from H&M. The price point is fantastic ($25-$32 depending on if you go with the full linen or cotton-blend), and the fit is great!
