Guys-I’ve officially been blogging for 12 (yes, TWELVE) years today! It’s still surreal to me that something that started as a creative outlet while I figured out what I wanted to do with my life is still going strong!
I’m not quite ready to host Thanksgiving at my home, but in the meantime, I’ve been taking notes on decor and festive yet chic tablescapes.
Loft’s styles have evolved over the years and include more youthful and casual pieces, so I like shopping there for clothes that will actually fit my lifestyle, and recently I picked up this fun dotted tiered midi dress from the Saddle Creek location.
Whenever I buy something new for my wardrobe, one of two things will happen: I will either wear it immediately (and nonstop depending on what it is), or wait forever to break it out, not quite sure of what I want to pair it with. Such was the case with this leather moto jacket + pleated midi skirt.
If you’re on the hunt for what to wear once it’s hot as hades outside, here’s a quick list of frocks that’ll get your through Spring + Summer:
The change in seasons always gets me jonesing for new pieces. I’m going to be more practical and not go out and spend all of my money, however, so I’m gathering up a little Summer style inspiration to help me figure out just what to get.

It was refreshing to have you pull pieces I already owned and create totally different looks than I had previously imagined. Thank you for also giving me tips about ways to wear white in the fall! Great shoot and blog.
Thanks so much for participating Jenice! I had a ball with you and candyce. I can’t wait to see the finished photos and I hope we can do more!
