After I wrapped up a shoot with one of my blogger clients last Saturday I popped into H&M after she told me about the sale they were having. I didn’t have long to look around (speed shopping is now my new thing) and I scored a few cute pieces, included this midi/maxi puff-sleeved dress.
It took me a minute to finally pick up Fenty Beauty’s new Sun Stalk’r Instant Warmth Bronzer, but I am so glad that I did. I wasn’t able to swatch in store due to COVID, but thanks to how well they describe their shades (and their undertones), I was able to get a good match.
What better place to finally wear this gorgeous Bl Nk Meridian Striped Tunic than the beach? I lucked up on this gorgeous tunic dress at Anthropologie back in late February, but it took me months to finally wear it because, well, I wear what I want when I want to wear it, lol.
This past Saturday was a busy but fun day for me. I had 2 blogger shoots lined up that day but they were 8 hours apart, so after my first shoot, I took a little time for some retail therapy and then a solo lunch at El Mero Taco.

This Summer I’m actually spending more time outside (those that know me know this is a BIG deal, lol), so I’ve been having fun trying new skincare and makeup products out.
I am a night owl by nature. If I didn’t have to be a functioning adult during the daytime, I’d stay up until 3am easily every night. That’s not the way any of this works, though, so after trial and error, I’ve finally figured out what I need to do in order to get a great night’s sleep.
When the temps heat up, the dresses come out, and they pretty much stay out til Summer is gone, lol. We recently took a family trip down to Gulf Shores for a long weekend getaway, and I knew I’d live in nothing but dresses while we were there.
