I love, love, love the runway shows during Memphis Fashion Week, but I really look forward to seeing some city style. Take a look at city style from Day 1 of the runway shows at Crosstown Concourse.
Day 1 of Memphis Fashion Week’s runway shows took place at the newly renovated Crosstown Concourse. It doesn’t officially open until August, but the industrial vibe helped set the mood while keeping all of the fun fashion grounded.
Fashion shows are always fun, but I’m naturally a behind-the-scenes girl. I love seeing the hair and makeup process (new products + trends!), so I was excited to be invited backstage for Day 1 of runway shows at Memphis Fashion Week.
Anyway, I plan to go to more brunches (plus Easter + Mother’s Day are around the corner), so I’m searching for dresses so that I can be prepared. Conveniently, Shopbop is having their Sale of the Season, so in addition to cute dresses, I can also order some more unique shoes + accessories as well.
Designer Nicole Miller was this year’s Headlining Designer for day one of Memphis Fashion Week, and MFDN hosted a pre-show luncheon with her at the Memphis Hunt and Polo Club.
The Memphis Fashion Week Preview Party never disappoints, especially when it comes to City Style. One of my favorite things about this entire week of events is that you get to see people’s personal style.
We cherish the support of regular friends + family for sure, but there’s something to be said about having friends who are on a journey that’s similar to your own.
Memphis Fashion Week festivities have begun! Last night I attended their Media Night event over at the Lab. It was an opportunity for style bloggers + other media outlets to mingle, meet the MFDN board, and to get a peek at some of the EMDP designs that will be shown during Saturday’s shows.
I think I’ve made it pretty clear how excited I am for Spring, BUT, I am sad that some of my favorite Fall pieces will have to be retired because of it. Like this leather bomber jacket.
