One of things that I love about being a blogger is that if you play it right, you can use it as a launch pad for something so much bigger.
When you’re getting dressed for an event and can’t figure out what to wear, a floral dress is always a good choice. On Thursday I attended Saddle Creek’s Blogger Meetup, and I wanted to be cute and comfy, so I pulled out this uber cute floral midi dress that I got for a steal at Target.
I’ve already started shopping for my Spring “look”, but I can’t go full on tropicana just yet, lol. Luckily, Shopbop is having a sale on sale through Thursday, 3/22, so I can get a few pieces that I can wear now AND later. Use code SOEXTRA to save an additional 25% off select markdowns.

It’s that time again! Shopbop is having their Buy More, Save More Sale, and with us being on the cusp of Spring (only a few weeks away!), now’s the perfect time to get that Spring wardrobe together.
Last Friday was a night filled with art, culture, and fashion. I attended the preview of the new African-Print Fashion Now! A Story of Taste, Globalization, and Style Exhibit at The Brooks Museum.
