Crushed velvet is one of those Fall “trends” that will always be around. Coveted colors, cuts and silhouettes may change each year, but the texture is one that’s flattering for most and can fit with any style.

I’ve been wanting a velvet midi skirt for a while, so when I stumbled upon this perfect one from Francesca’s a few weeks back, I got it in not one but TWO colors.
I FINALLY got my hands on a pair of white booties (I winded up ordering these beauties. They are perfect.), and now I need cute Fall dresses to wear them with.
What better way to spend your Saturday afternoon than with wine, shopping and friends?
Last night I attended The Memphis Flyer’s Best of Memphis Party and had so much fun with some of my coworkers! CrazyBeautiful, one of the boutiques I shoot with, won for Best Women’s Boutique, so some of us went to celebrate at the event (held at Graceland).
This Jealous Tomato Kimono has been one of my favorite buys over the last year. On days when I want to jzeush up a simple top and jeans, I can throw it on and pretty much go anywhere I want.
Memphis weather keeps testing me. We were soooo close to Fall feels last week (I’m talking 62 degrees!) but now we’re knocking at 90. It’s not right! I’m ready to wear more cool weather clothing like this boyfriend plaid shirt from Target.
I’ve always been vocal about my love of dark florals, and when Fall comes back around I start searching for new options to add to wardrobe.
For the past few years, I’ve mostly worn skinny denim. The cut has been the most flattering on my frame, but I got my first pair of girlfriend denim a few weeks ago and I can’t believe it took me so long!
As the seasons change, one Fall style trend to be on the lookout for when the weather is so unpredictable is the slip dress.
