Earlier this month, I had the pleasure of having a staycation at the newly renovated Westin Memphis, located right off of the historic Beale Street.
Any time I get to hang out with my nieces and sister in law is a treat, and recently we got together to have a Girls Day down in Desoto County.
This past Saturday was a busy but fun day for me. I had 2 blogger shoots lined up that day but they were 8 hours apart, so after my first shoot, I took a little time for some retail therapy and then a solo lunch at El Mero Taco.
I'm not one for outdoor activities (I stopped looking forward to Summer once I became an adult and no longer enjoyed Summer breaks, lol), but a picnic in the park? Sign me up.

Ballet Memphis debuted their Nutcracker show over the weekend, and leading up to its opening night, they collaborated with one of my faves, 17 Berkshire, for a special shoot (and dessert) and guess who got to shoot it?!?
