Distressed Denim + Mixed Prints

I’ve never been a huge fan of capris (short girl problems), but every once in a while I find a pair that I can add into rotation. Enter these Signature Fit Boyfriend Capri from Lane Bryant.

I love the distressing, and the medium wash color makes them a great Fall transition pieces. They work great with neutrals and brighter colors (Like the mixed print blouse I’m wearing with them), but they will also work well with neutrals and those warmer, more muted tones for Fall (rust, olive green, merlot, etc). I also really like how they fit; I am a mid-rise girl through and through and these hit just right.

Speaking of Fall, I’m so ready for Fall fashion. I don’t closely follow trends (I just like what I like/what I feel looks good on me), but there are certain styles that I get excited about during the season. While I don’t always emulate it, I LOVE a 70s/boho aesthetic for Fall. Flare denim, turtlenecks, kimonos, drapey tops, etc, but I also dig the minimalist, almost utilitarian vibe as well. Like I’m counting down for it to be cool enough to break out my combat boots and flare denim again!

I can’t wait to see how these look with a bootie, black turtleneck and moto jacket. We still have at least 6 weeks before it’s cool enough to wear stuff like that, but I can’t wait.

Do you wear capris?
