Floral Midi Dress // Saddle Creek Blogger Meetup

When you’re getting dressed for an event and can’t figure out what to wear, a floral dress is always a good choice. On Thursday I attended Saddle Creek’s Blogger Meetup, and I wanted to be cute and comfy, so I pulled out this uber cute floral midi dress that I got for a steal at Target.

Spring officially arrived this week but it’s still a little chilly, so midi length dresses are perfect for this type of weather. I knew we would be walking around the center (Saddle Creek is an outdoor mall), so I paired it with a light moto jacket (an ooooold Mossimo jacket that I’ve had for years; here’s similar) and my favorite nude mules.

When I arrived, everyone was heading into Southern Avenue Company, a new interior goods and gift shop. It was design overload (so many gorgeous pieces) and I have to go back to really shop.

We were treated to yummy bites by Rise Saddle Creek,a new donuts + biscuits cafe. YA’LL. We had chicken and lamb sliders, creme brule donuts, and maple bacon donuts paired with wine and champagne. I cannot explain to you how delicious things were, and I will be visiting Rise frequently so that I can get the full experience.

After that, we hopped over to The Paper Source for a little DIY Crafting (I missed out because I took too long taking pictures, lol) but the other bloggers made some cute banners.

We then popped into Indigo for some retail therapy (I found the cutest necklace!). I didn’t get any pictures there (we were too busy talking, lol), but I loved being able to see some new faces and talk with like-minded community. The blogging community is really starting to thrive, and I so enjoy going to outings like this.

Thank you so much to Saddle Creek for hosting us. The center will always have a special place in my heart because I worked there for almost 6 years. Kenneth (GM) + Heather (Marketing Director) have been doing an amazing job with cultivating events and experiences at the center and I can’t wait to see what they do next!
