Leopard: The New Neutral

Leopard Print Dress + Leather Moto Jacketr

As far as I’m concerned, leopard is a neutral (and has been one for quite some time). It goes with just abut everything, and you can either incorporate it into your wardrobe in a small way (think leopard belt or small clutch), or go all in like  I did with this midi dress from Target.

When I got the word from Carmeon that we were going down to Oxford for the MENT Event (I recapped it here), I knew that I wanted to wear something that was cute, but also comfortable enough for me to move around in while I took pictures. I no longer take a chance on my outfits when I have to travel anymore; I take the time out to make sure it fits how I want and I’m fully accessorized before I pack my bags and go to bed the night before so that I’m not surprised when I finally get dressed, lol.

This dress is soooo comfy and soft. It moves with you too as well. I paired it with my leather moto jacket, black ankle booties (that I found for a less than $20 at Target that same day too!) and Jessica Simpson purse (similar) since it was still chilly and I knew we’d be walking around outside, but once it starts to warm I can wear it with sandals. I can even wear it white sneakers if I want to play with the athleisure trend too.

If you’re looking to add in more leopard pieces into your wardrobe, here’s some options I’ve found around the web.
