Makeup Products I’m Loving Right Now

Makeup products I'm loving right now

I will forever be a makeup junkie and love to try new things, but I also love a solid, no-fail list of beauty products that I know that I can always return to. Not all are holy grail makeup products, but they are ones that I’ve discovered that work well together and on their own. Also, now that I’m in my 40s, my skin does what it wants when it wants, lol, so these also work well within any iteration of that.

Currently my skin HATES both full coverage makeup or foundation that’s too dewy, so I found some makeup products that provide a happy medium. If you’ve been on the hunt for some new makeup to try, here are a few products that I’m loving right now.

Hueguard Skin Tint SPF 50 Mineral Sunscreen Broad SpectrumLive Tinted Hueguard Skin Tint SPF 50 Mineral Sunscreen Broad Spectrum

This is the newest addition to my makeup bag and I LOVE IT. The colormatch is fantastic, and I love how it feels on my skin-it’s very lightweight. I also don’t have to use a lot either, which is great, but it is buildable if you want more coverage. I picked up a mini version to try and I plan to purchase the full-sized bottle once I’m done with it.

Milani Conceal + Perfect Longwear ConcealerMilani Conceal + Perfect Longwear Concealer

I’ve used this concealer on and off the last few years and I realized earlier this year that it works best if I really hydrate under my eyes and let it self-set (no powder). It’s also great on those day when I just need a little under-eye coverage and spot treatment.

ABH Brow Wiz Precision Eyebrow PencilABH Brow Wiz Precision Eyebrow Pencil

This is one of my all-time favorite brow pencils. It’s creamy but also attaches to brow hairs very well, so you can create a great, full brow without it smearing all over the place.

E.L.F. High Definition PowderE.L.F. High Definition Powder

This powder is a beast in the best way. It will mattify TF out of your face, but it’s finely milled so you only need a little (too much and you will look dried out lol). If you’re oily a little bit of your natural oils will eventually come through, but you’ll just look glowy versus greasy.

ColourPop Shadow StixColourPop Shadow Stix

A fun makeup hack is to use a shadow stick when you want to add a little more oomph to your look without using actual eyeshadow. Bonus points if it has a little bit of shimmer. This bronzy color is so pretty and gives definition to your eyes, even if you don’t apply mascara. Wear it like regular eyeliner, or apply it fully to your lid and blend it out. One and done!

Lash Idôle Lash-Lifting Volumizing MascaraLash Idôle Lash-Lifting Volumizing Mascara

This is the only mascara I’ve found to stay put on my oily eyelids. I will sometimes add a lash primer if I want to really build it up and make sure it stays put, but I don’t necessarily have to use it. Pro-tip: buy the mini size because mascara dries out quickly and you don’t want to waste product.

Ulta Beauty Cloud Blush Blurring BlushUlta Beauty Cloud Blush Blurring Blush

I love the formula of this blush. It’s not too pigmented, and it has a soft, blurred look once it’s blended out. This color is the peeeeerfect peachy shade and I wear it almost daily.

Yves Saint Laurent All Hours 24H Hyper Sunkissed Glow BronzerYves Saint Laurent All Hours 24H Hyper Sunkissed Glow Bronzer

This is one of the best bronzers I have ever used. I received it in PR, but I would totally buy it once it runs out. You really do look sunkissed vs muddy or orange with this.

Essence Hydra Kiss Lip OilEssence Hydra Kiss Lip Oil

I don’t always want to do a full color on my lips and this Lip Oil is perfect. Your lips look like you ate some juicy cherries so if you like a done/undone makeup look, this works great for that.

NYX Butter Gloss Non-Sticky Lip GlossNYX Butter Gloss Non-Sticky Lip Gloss

I’ve used NYX Butter Glosses for yeeears and they are my go-to for lipgloss. They’re thick without being gloopy, have just enough pigment without being too opaque, and they come in a bunch of colors. This one is my favorite for Fall, but I own like 8 different colors.

There are some other products that I’m trying but for now, these are part of my everyday makeup bag.

Have you tried any of these products before?
