Mini Obsession | #TheNewBR Fit + Flare Floral Dress

So I may sound a little biased in the post, but I’m kiiiinda sorta obsessed with this new Fit + Flare Floral Dress that we got in-store at BR last week. I’ve been a fan of this silhouette since we introduced it a few seasons ago, but this floral pattern made it even more legit for me.

See, what I look forward to the most with Spring fashion are floral + watercolor patterns. Reason being, if you typically sticks with neutrals with a few pops of color here and there in your wardrobe, you want to slowly incorporate patterns into your collection without being overwhelmed. So usually, you’ll add 1 blouse, a patterned belt, or a dress that can be worn for multiple occasions without being so distinct that you’ll feel weird about it. The tone of this dress, coupled with the fabric (has a slight stretch so it moves) makes this a perfect brunch/wedding dress for the season. Plus, it has pockets! Dresses with pockets are an automatic must-have for me.

Throw on a thin cardi + flats or leather jacket and some booties for a little more edge and you’ll be good to go. Or, top it with a thin crewneck cardigan and have it do double duty as a skirt (a little trick I learned from Blair Eadie). Seriously, could this pattern be any cuter?
