Must-Have |Stylish Backpacks

Who knew that backpacks would be one of those accessories that would cross over onto the chic side of things? Flipping through glossies over the last few weeks, I noted a few celebs + models carrying them when they were snapped in street style shots.

Balancing both function + fashion, this isn’t one of those backpacks that you pick up from the convenience store. No, the trend is to go with something sleeker, a little over-sized (because you still have to lug your junk around), and preferably in a faux leather or suede. Black, white, or tan is a given (easy neutrals that go with everything), but you can spice up your look with an electric blue or even play around with mixing textures.

I owned one yeeeears ago (before they were cool and given “It-Girl Accessory” status), so it’s pretty cool to see it come back around. This time, though, I want an upgraded black one with the cute little drawstrings with gold taps. It could double as a camera bag, but still work for my day to day bag.
