Last Sunday I trekked out in the rain (while fighting a horrible cold no less) to Style Junkie Boutique’s One Year Anniversary Celebration. One of the go to places in Memphis for women looking for something unique and trendy (the easiest way to update any outfit is with a hot handbag, jewelry and shoes), owner Andrea Fenise also debuted a capsule collection of pieces she designed (sexy, body conscious dresses & catsuits pieces aptly titled Super Freak).
Hosted in the adjacent showroom to her boutique in the Marshall Arts Gallery (639 Marshall Arts Avenue), many people turned out to mingle, shop, and ultimately show their support. Her collection received a warm reception; Andrea has always been interested in design (she’s dabbled in DIY projects with accessories), so creating pieces that she herself would wear was a fun challenge, and she’s looking to do more down the line.
I had my trusty Fuji with me and snapped a few pics while I was there.

Jewelry Designer and stylist Kimberly Brown was in attendance (she created some, if not all of the *jewelry worn by the models that night).Love the blue highlights!
As much as I love buying new jewelry, I find myself keeping a few pieces in heavy rotation. I’ve gotten into statement necklaces recently, but I’ve kept it simple when it comes to my earrings.
Once major in the 90s, bomber jackets have made a big resurgence on the Fall trend list this year. Whether they’re rocking denim or a slip dress, everyone is determined to top it off with a stylish bomber.
There are so many new style aesthetics floating around that it’s hard to keep up sometimes, but one that I’ve found fascinating (and drawn to) is cottagecore.
No one wants to suffer from VPL (visible panty line) or the extra lumps and bumps that these textures can create, so here is a roundup of bras and shapewear pieces that you can add to your lingerie collection this holiday season.
Floral bombers are one of those “trendy” pieces that I feel will never go out of style. You have quite a bit of versatility with the way that they can be styled, and they’re just plain fun.
