Last Sunday I trekked out in the rain (while fighting a horrible cold no less) to Style Junkie Boutique’s One Year Anniversary Celebration. One of the go to places in Memphis for women looking for something unique and trendy (the easiest way to update any outfit is with a hot handbag, jewelry and shoes), owner Andrea Fenise also debuted a capsule collection of pieces she designed (sexy, body conscious dresses & catsuits pieces aptly titled Super Freak).
Hosted in the adjacent showroom to her boutique in the Marshall Arts Gallery (639 Marshall Arts Avenue), many people turned out to mingle, shop, and ultimately show their support. Her collection received a warm reception; Andrea has always been interested in design (she’s dabbled in DIY projects with accessories), so creating pieces that she herself would wear was a fun challenge, and she’s looking to do more down the line.
I had my trusty Fuji with me and snapped a few pics while I was there.

Jewelry Designer and stylist Kimberly Brown was in attendance (she created some, if not all of the *jewelry worn by the models that night).Love the blue highlights!
I’m channeling my inner Penny Lane in this gorgeous velvet kimono and corduroy flares from The MFDN’s Curated Consignment Event that’s taking place this Thursday + Friday.
In a move that wasn’t 100% unexpected but still surprisingly bold, Lucky Magazine is featuring 3 top personal style bloggers on the cover of their February 2015…
I’m not one for outdoor activities (I stopped looking forward to Summer once I became an adult and no longer enjoyed Summer breaks, lol), but a picnic in the park? Sign me up.
