To know me is to know that I am totally a cat person in the great pet debate, but I couldn’t pass up this uber cute puppy print mini dress from Dia & Co. when I saw it.

I always talk about “cute and comfy” when it comes to my focus with clothes, but I promise, it truly does make a difference when you invest in clothing that fits within this realm. I never want to think too much about what I’m wearing, and I definitely don’t like clothing that is very fussy (although there’s a time and place for those types of pieces), so I tend to gravitate to things that require very little thought when getting dressed but will still look good.

The style of the dress gave me a coastal feel, so I paired it rattan heels, but it can also be worn with simple white sneakers and a denim jacket for an added layering piece. I’d wear this to brunch or on an afternoon date to a cute bistro. I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned it before, but I try to buy clothing that would fit certain “scenarios” in my head, so everything I own makes sense for my wardrobe.
