Spring Vibes

All hail warm weather! I’m so happy that it’s finally starting to warm up here! Memphis weather is notorious for its extremes, but we do have some pleasant moments (for a few days at least).

My photographer spotted this little urban garden in her neighborhood and I knew it would be perfect for this look. I bought this dress last year from Banana Republic. It’s a sack dress, which isn’t always the most flattering, but the color was gorgeous so I had to have it. I wanted to give it a little shape, though, so I belted it on the inside and topped it with a cardigan I found from H&M (a little trick for those that want to give the illusion of having an hourglass shape).

My new Spring mules were perfect (and comfy!). I also love this suede Elle & Jae Hobo Bag I ordered from Shopbop. It’s roomy and can fit all of my junk in it but is much more stylish than a basic tote.
