I have been a huge fan of Rachel Roy for years (I can’t tell you how many profiles and interviews I’ve watched and read on her over the years), so I was ecstatic that she was this year’s Headlining Designer for Memphis Fashion Week.
Floral bombers are one of those “trendy” pieces that I feel will never go out of style. You have quite a bit of versatility with the way that they can be styled, and they’re just plain fun.
I never want to copy someone’s style, but I’ve been really inspired by the way a lot of the women I follow on Instagram dress, so whether it’s trying out a different style of top or wearing some structural earrings with a simple tee, experimenting with sartorial choices has been so fun.
It’s time to invest in a few pretty, romantic tops and thankfully, Shopbop is having their Event of the Season Sale so I can save! Use code EVENT18 to get 20% off when spending less than $500, and 25% off when spending more than $500 on all items marked ‘EVENT18’!
On Saturday I attended Art By Design, ArtsMemphis’ annual fundraising event that features gorgeous vignettes designed by some of Memphis’ top interior designers + design firms. This year was a super special treat because I got to see my friend Andrea Fenise’s “Turn Your Room Into A Wardrobe” Tour.
I will never shy away from wearing colors and patterns, but I feel like having a few black and white quality basics in your closet is a must.
I’ve never owned anything with a fruit pattern but when I saw this Ella Moon Ladder Swing Blouse with lemon print via Shopbop’s site, I knew I had to have it.
No matter how much trends may change, florals, stripes and bold colors will always be essentials this time of year, so here’s a round up of cute dresses under $100.
When you’re getting dressed for an event and can’t figure out what to wear, a floral dress is always a good choice. On Thursday I attended Saddle Creek’s Blogger Meetup, and I wanted to be cute and comfy, so I pulled out this uber cute floral midi dress that I got for a steal at Target.
