Because so much has changed for me since last May, I’m taking this to be my reset month: a month for me to figure out what my next moves will be, any changes I will make for myself personally, etc.
While I don’t deal with a ton of stress, I DO have a hard time shutting my brain off at night, so I’m always looking for things that can help you sleep better. One thing that I’ve found that helps is CBD Oil, and for the last few weeks I’ve been testing out Neurogan’s Full-Spectrum Extract CBD Oil.
I am a night owl by nature. If I didn’t have to be a functioning adult during the daytime, I’d stay up until 3am easily every night. That’s not the way any of this works, though, so after trial and error, I’ve finally figured out what I need to do in order to get a great night’s sleep.
We experience so many microaggressions just living our lives day to day, and if we only wait for those big, expensive moments to bring us joy, we will miss out on so much of the beauty around us.
I don’t know when life will go back to normal, but I wanted to just share a few things that I’ve been doing to help myself stay sane while social distancing. Covid-19 has forced us to slow our lives down but tbh, I don’t think that’s 100% a bad thing.
I’ve written about my morning routine before and the things that I typically do to kickstart my day, but on the days that I can take a little extra time with getting ready, I like to do a few extra things to make the most of my mornings.

A few weeks back, my friend Andrea invited a group of us to experience #selfcare with Sundara Wellness, a new wellness center in Midtown geared specifically towards women, and for me personally, it was the perfect ending to an otherwise hectic day.
