This time last year I was prepping to travel to Mexico City for my friend Carmeon’s birthday, so I figured now would probably be a great time to actually share those photos here, lol. It was an amazing trip (there’s a saved highlight on my IG) but I never had a chance to post the photo diary so here we go, lol!
Back in March, I traveled to Costa Rica with Carmeon and Shavonda on their Creator-hosted TrovaTrip (they
partners with Creators to host authentic travel experiences to help make travel easier, safer and more accessible to all), and after way too much delay, here is my recap!
I still can’t believe it, but me and a group of my great girlfriends went on a mini vacay to Paris last October and it was absolutely life changing.
Back in April, I traveled down to Tupelo, MS on a work trip with my client Bianca and the blogger group that she’s a part of (Southern Curve Collective). It was a press trip with My Tupelo, the city’s tourism center, and I had the pleasure of documenting their trip.
Mid-week getaway? Don’t mind if I do! Last week I had the pleasure of visiting Crown Winery, a vineyard and winery located in Humboldt, TN. A quick 90 minute drive from Memphis, the gorgeous Tuscan-style villa offers a taste of Italy without all of the international travel.
Back in November I visited my favorite cousin Stanley and his girlfriend Diana in Charlotte, NC for a long weekend. They relocated there for his residency and have raved about it since moving there, so I was so happy to finally be able to visit!
During our girls trip to Nashville, we made plans to do a wine tasting at Arrington Vineyards, located about 25 miles south of Nashville. We all love a great glass of wine, so any time we can book a trip to a winery, we’re doing it!
Brunch will ALWAYS be a good choice, so for the end of our girls trip to Nashville back in November, Carmeon suggested the Restoration Hardware Cafe in The Gallery at Green Hills. We knew we were going to do a little shopping when we were done, so the Cafe would be perfect.
Last month, a friend and I finally made the trip that we had planned to Philly. We were supposed to go last year but COVID put a stop to those plans. Thankfully, we went through a travel agency so we were able to rebook it without losing anything.
A few weekends ago, my friend Andrea and I took a trip down to Downtown, Oxford, MS. for a very much needed artist’s date. The quaint college town is only a little over an hour away via car, so we decided to make a day trip out of it and head down to explore.
