Groundbreaking Florals // My New Favorite Pantsuit
I have always wanted a floral pantsuit, but I’ve had a helluva time finding one that I felt like was “me”. Until now.

It’s no surprise that as you grow and evolve as a person, your style does (or should do) the same thing. When I worked in healthcare management years ago, “what can I wear to the office” dominated my shopping habits, but now that I work primarily for myself, I look for smart, stylish pieces that I can wear for almost any occasion.
Am I making excuses to want to shop? Maaaaaaybe, lol, but I also know that Spring is only a month away so more transitional pieces are needed for my wardrobe.
There has to be value in your content, and as long as there are content creators out there providing value with their sites, blogging will never die.
I’m a firm believer of not saving outfits, but every blue moon it works out that way (and is actually for the best). I recently met one of my friends for drinks at the newly renovate Hu. Hotel Rooftop Bar downtown.
Short pleated skirts were made for Summer. They’re so versatile, and you can style them so many ways.
Kimonos truly are a girl’s best friend (especially in the Summer). I have a bit of a gypsy heart and I love layering at all times, so lightweight options allow you to still be cute + comfy without passing out from the heat.
Denim overalls have made a resurgence over the last few seasons. They’re no longer super baggy, making you look like an extra from a 90s movie, but they’re not overly stuffy like you work on a farm either.
Yesterday was officially the first day of Summer and I….am already ready for Fall, lol. But no, seriously, Summer heat arrived in Memphis weeks ago, so I’ve already switched out my closet for more seasonally appropriate fare.
I think I’ve made it pretty clear how excited I am for Spring, BUT, I am sad that some of my favorite Fall pieces will have to be retired because of it. Like this leather bomber jacket.
