List 5-7 keywords/phrases that you want to focus on. This not only helps you with planning your content, but will also assist you with defining who you want your audience to be.
Keep it simple with 3-5 general categories in the beginning, but this exercise will help you figure out what you want to write about within each category as well.
Having an editorial calendar of some sort will help you balance out your schedule. Block out chunks of time for both content creation + when you want posts to go live.
