My friend Andrea joined me for a fun afternoon wine tasting. We enjoyed it outside and the weather was absolutely perfect!
First we learned all about harvesting and labeling. The winery is family owned and operated, and everything is done on site.
After we learned how it's made, we settled in for the tasting. We sampled five of their wines: Cayuga White, Chardonel, Sangiovese (my fave), Forgotten Five and a Rosé.

Each food paring was unique, so we were able to taste why certain wines paired best with certain foods.
After the tasting, we did some exploring. Crown Winery is on 50 acres of land, and we got to tour the grounds to see the vines.
