Shopping local and supporting small businesses should be something that everyone does year round, but just in case you’re still needing some holiday gifts and want to support a few Memphis Makers, Creatives and small businesses, here’s my 2021 round up of some of my favorite locally owned small businesses that you can (happily) shop with this season.
*Please note: this is NOT a definitive list. Memphis is overflowing with so many creatives and makers that I implore you to research the small businesses here in the city and support your community. Also, many if not all of the boutiques I’ve included also carry local or small indie brands as well, so be sure to visit them so that you can find some gems. These are just some of my favorites to support and I think that you will enjoy them too!

For my foodies: 17 Berkshire, Smallcakes Collierville, and GREYS Cheese all have little snacks, gifts and happies that you can build cute baskets with in case you need some white elephant gifts and you really don’t know what the person likes (because everyone loves food, right??)
Every time you shop local you directly affect your local economy. While helping support these businesses and brands, you in turn help them support their families, grow their businesses (and in most cases, help them to supply jobs to other people). It’s a win-win for everyone.
