Like most women, when the temperature begins rising, I start leaning towards a “less is more” approach when it comes to my makeup routine. It gets super humid here in Memphis so the last thing that I want to do is feel makeup sliding off my face, so usually I forego foundation unless it’s for a special occasion, or I wear a tinted moisturizer.
The super lightweight formula glides onto skin so you feel nothing once you apply it, but it’s buildable, so if you do want a little more coverage, you can achieve it without the heaviness that you usually get from foundation, leaving you with an airbrushed finish. I switched out the liquid foundation that I normally wear for a few days and have been pleased with the results.
TIP:
For most applications, you will only need a walnut size amount. You can spray it on the back of your hand but because I don’t like a mess, I spray it directly onto my flat brush, dot it on various points of my face, and then blend. It does dry fairly quickly, so make sure that you always apply moisturizer first so that you don’t have dry patches. I tested a shade darker than I normally wear (I tan in the summer), but the difference was subtle so I looked like I had a healthy glow. It comes in 12 shades so depending on if you tan or not in the summer, you should be able to find a good match!
I received some products from L’BRI Pure N’ Natural, a natural based skincare + product line to test out (and hopefully find a few products to mix into my routine).
