Over the weekend I popped into Genghis Grill for a quick lunch. I’d been out running errands + didn’t want anything heavy, so I stopped by one near Target (aka the greatest place on earth) to grab a bite.
Being someone that’s always on the go means 1 of 2 things: 1.) You spend WAY too much money on food 2.) When you do cook, you try to make quick but easy meals.
Finally had a chance to pop into South Main Sushi + Grill a few weeks ago. One of my good friends that was in town met me on South Main after I finished a photoshoot (and was starving), so we walked down and grabbed a table to catch up.
I Love Juice Bar opened in Midtown last September, but I didn’t make my way in until a few weeks ago. They’re all about fresh using fresh, local ingredients and offer freshly made 100% juices, smoothies, salads and other vegetarian goodies.
I recently went to a small potluck dinner with friends where the “theme” was tacos, so I thought, what better time to make some homemade guacamole?
If tacos were made for Tuesday’s, what do you eat the other days of the week? They’re what I usually get when I go to Babalu Memphis, a tacos + tapas spot in Overton Square, but this time around, I tried something different.

Get into the deliciousness that is the Ham Sammie at Porcellino’s. I FINALLY made my way over to the Cafe/Butcher shop for a quick meeting and I honestly don’t know why its taken me so long to get over there.
