When the seasons change, not only do I start thinking about my fashion looks for the upcoming season, I also start thinking about my beauty looks as well. Fall is probably the most romantic season to me. I know that Spring traditionally carries that title because of blossoming flowers, pastel colors and sunny days but in my book, Fall is the real winner. Why? Think about it: Cooler weather = warm blankets and jackets, hot cocoa, walks in the parks holding hands (watching the leaves change), earlier nights, snuggling in front of a fireplace, etc. The list goes on. Well with all of that snuggling and romance, why not play up your pout (because who doesn’t desire to be more kissable, lol) with a pretty red lip?
Some people associate red lipstick with being a rocker chick and having wild nights but I think a bold red lip paired with a fresh, minimalist face is a fun alternative to the traditional smokey-eye and nude lip look.

I’ve been playing in makeup since I was 11 (though can the super pale nude lipstick I was able to wear really be considered makeup??), so I’ve learned a lot along the way and thought I’d share some of those here.
So based on my weather predictions, we have exactly one month til Fall weather starts to finally creep in here. I’m still pretty good on denim (though I’m not opposed to adding in 1-2 more pairs), but on my radar for sure are blazers.
